Rhea Lana’s is the nation’s premier high-quality children’s consignment event venue, and we are lucky to have the VERY FIRST Virginia franchise of the Arkansas-based company right here in Winchester!
What is Rhea Lana’s all about? According to local mom and owner Angela Stokes, Rhea Lana’s is all about moms who love helping moms through the highest quality consignment experience possible. Local moms can make money selling gently used items their children no longer need, and at the same time can save money on everything needed for the upcoming season. Rhea Lana’s seasonal (Spring and Fall) consignment events are comprised of high quality children’s clothes, toys, books, DVDs, baby items, maternity, and much, much more.
What makes Rhea Lana’s different from other consignment events? The ‘Rhea Lana’s Difference’ focuses around the ease of preparing items for consignment, a focus on quality, an industry-leading sales percentage back to consignors, and on giving back to the community. Consignors prepare and price their own items, entering them into the easy to use online system and make 70-80% of all items that are purchased during the week of the sale. Rhea Lana’s prints your item labels for you, saving you the expense and time. Rhea Lana’s even has an app that allows you to quickly enter your items using their coveted voice entry system. As a consignor, you can check your sales live online or on your smart phone throughout the week of the event. They GUARANTEE all items and will reimburse you for anything lost! Unsold items are offered to local foster families to shop free of charge at the end of the event before they are donated to a few carefully selected charities, or you can pick unsold items up (which are neatly sorted and waiting for you) along with your check on the sale’s final day. Rhea Lana’s Back-to-School Fall/Winter event will be September 9-12 at the Hampton Inn & Conference Center in Winchester (1204 Berryville Ave). The private Pre-Sale for consignors, volunteers, moms-to-be (birth or adoption), military, and Facebook/Instagram followers will be on Saturday, September 8. Volunteering is a fun way to meet other moms, socialize, and get a chance to shop early! When you sign up to volunteer for one four-hour shift in the store, you can earn a pass to shop at the Worker's Pre-Sale Event. When you sign up to volunteer for two four-hour shifts in the store, you can earn a pass to shop at the Early Worker's Pre-Sale Event. New for this event is the Rhea Lana’s Super Moms volunteer group. Super Moms volunteer for three shifts in the store and earn the opportunity to shop the night before Pre-Sale at a private shopping event where they are pampered with snacks, drinks, goodies, and of course, no lines!
