If you are looking for very local, visit your local library and check out books! We have three local libraries near us, the Handley Library, the Bowman Library, and the Clarke County Library. These libraries also have an abundance of activities that go on all throughout the days! Check out one or participate in several of their activities!
Wisp Resort offers Snow Tubing, skiing and snow boarding and you can even make a weekend out of it by staying at their Lodge .
In order for children to participate in snow tubing, they must be at least 4 years old and 42" tall. Please also see other regulations on their website regarding other activities!
Go roller skating at an indoor rink that plays your favorite music! Our local roller skating rink is called the Winchester Skating and Family Fun Center

Go bowling at our local bowling alley, Northside Lanes ! They offer cosmic bowling as well as regular bowling. Check them out on their designated Free Student Bowling day (Monday thru Friday) between noon and 5pm! ALL students (preschool thru college) receive one free game of bowling & a free hot dog. Shoe rental fee applies. (Additional student games charged at regular rate. Limit one free game/hot dog per day.) Did you also know that you can book a lane online now?
